Our awards are judged by true industry leaders who are at the cutting edge of marketing. This is your chance to show off your marketing superpowers to the world.
We’re looking for brands that can demonstrate how they’ve used Dotdigital to enable demonstrable growth and ROI. We’ll be looking not only for creativity and effectiveness, which is the essence of marketing excellence, but also for marketing stories that can inspire us all and make us proud to represent the industry.
Do we need to answer this question? If you’ve been to a Dotties award ceremony before you’ll know they’re packed full of glitz and glamour, with show-stopping entertainment, and a special celebrity host.
The charmingly straight-talking, quick-witted Kerry Godliman is one of the country’s best performers. Kerry is best known for her appearances on Mock The Week, Live At The Apollo, Michael McIntyre’s Big Show, Taskmaster, Hypothetical, Ultimate Worrier, The Jonathan Ross Show, The Royal Variety Performance and 8 Out Of 10 Cats.
Kerry’s acting talents have seen her receive critical acclaim for her roles in After Life, Whitstable Pearl, Call The Midwife, Derek, Save Me, Bad Move, Carters Get Rich, Mascots and Adult Material.
Kerry is currently on tour with her stand-up show, BOSH. Now you can see her live on our stage as she joins us to host The Dotties 2022 for a night to remember at Troxy, London.

The winner of this award will demonstrate their commitment to delivering excellence for a charitable cause or social movement. Show us how you identified a specific audience – it might be donors, volunteers, supporters, or members – and created a meaningful campaign that ultimately helped others. We want to know where you’ve excelled and how while revealing which customer engagement tactics helped you deliver such outstanding results.

The ‘Best services partner of the year award’ acknowledges the outstanding success and innovations of a partner in the service business: celebrating their outstanding use of the platform, impressive campaign achievements and contribution to the Dotdigital ecosystem. This award celebrates an outstanding partner who has continued to champion customers in turning some of this year’s biggest marketing challenges into opportunities – shaping trends, accelerating digital growth and creating a seamless customer experience.

This year’s winner has demonstrated best use of the Dotdigital platform by placing trust in our capabilities and expertise, giving rise to campaigns that nurture an existing customer base while identifying and engaging an expanding audience.

WINNER – Bristol Airport
Bristol Airport were crowned the winners for taking data usage to the next level. Their ability to link data between web visits, email clicks, and purchase data from their CRM meant that almost a quarter of their revenue came from automated, data-driven campaigns.
WINNER – Parkdean Resorts
WINNER – Southampton Football Club
This is a back-to-back win in the creative category. The judges were so impressed with how they constructed their campaign design around their ‘bold and brave’ club persona, drawing on their audience’s sense of community. They built on kit sales by 300% from last year with exciting and unexpected creative which had fans flocking to browse and buy new kit.
WINNER – TES
TES combined powerful messaging with positive imagery to stand out with their audience in this B2B campaign. They used a variety of action calls to help drive demand. This resulted in engagement ten times that of their normal campaigns.
WINNER – Anglian Water
Well done to Anglian Water who created an incredible customer experience using dynamic content, customer satisfaction testing, and optimizing subject lines to boost sign-up rates by 3% and open rates of over 55%. Great work!
WINNER – Jojo Maman Bébé
JoJo Maman Bébé’s automated after-care campaign produced a conversion rate 131% above average. Not only that, it produced a 60% open rate with messaging that helped customers get the most out of a previous purchase. This allowed them to successfully implement a cross-sell element that resulted in a 45% increase in click-through rates.
WINNER – Help for Heroes
Help for Heroes worked hard to re-engage their dormant donors and recruit new supporters. They used a multichannel approach to reawaken supporters of which over 90% are still engaging. Their response rates with their current emails are almost 2.5 times the industry average.
WINNER – MrQ
The MrQ team created a complex cross-channel campaign pushing the boundaries of our program builder ensuring timely messaging. Moreover, by using a tracked promotional code, the campaign generated thousands of pounds in otherwise missed revenue and raised monthly engagement by 30%.

WINNER – Fresh Relevance
WINNER – Paragon DCX
Paragon DCX have award-winning delivered, scalable, powerful, and personal campaigns centred on improving the customer experience. They provide customers with highly personalized and valuable information.
WINNER – University of Nottingham
The Campaign and Alumni Relations Office at the University of Nottingham is responsible for generating philanthropic and volunteering support for the future development and success of the University. They raised thousands of pounds for causes such as scholarships to help disadvantaged students; medical research, and mental health support and were able to re-engage multiple donors who’d been silent for years.
WINNER – Lauren Oliver from StrategiQ
Lauren is a true marketing superstar. She has sent over 1.5 billion emails and millions of SMS’s resulting in over £50 million in CRM attributable revenue. The judges were especially touched by a special note from StrategiQ CEO, Andy Smith saying “Thanks Lauren for making StrategiQ better at what we do and how we do it!” Congratulations.
WINNER – Ann Summers
The team at Ann Summers created a customer-centric strategy with data-driven automated campaign programs to drive personalised content. They dug into customer data to uncover insights and areas for optimization. True teamwork shows in their fantastic results.
Spekrix are a long-standing customer, but this year the platform integration and cross-company collaboration has gone from strength to strength. Spetrix’s team are a pleasure to work with. Exciting possibilities lay ahead.

The ceremony will be held on 17th November at The Troxy, London.
There is no specific dress code for The Dotties, although we would love it if you dressed smart to celebrate the night with us. However you feel your best. No shorts or flip flops allowed please!
